Proclaiming the Glory of God

It's rainy season here in the Land of Smiles. That means several things... the most obvious being it rains. It also means beautiful rice fields (a green that cannot be explained in words and can't be captured by camera). It means that it is not unusual to see motorcycles driving on the road carrying an umbrella (raining or not). It means that there are more mosquitoes and my legs look diseased. It means that the only time it cools off (relatively speaking - maybe 90 instead of 100) is after a good, long rain. My favorite part of rainy season so far has by far been the beautiful sky. Everyday I look up and wonder how my friends and neighbors can see the sky and not believe in a creator God. Blows my mind! I looked online to find every verse that mentions the sky or the heavens... these are some of my favorites:

"The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or work; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world." ~ Ps. 19:1-4a My friend reminded me of this passage the other day talking about how beautiful the sky is here. She said the sky here really does speak without sound. He is definitely recognized in His creation and artwork in the sky here.
"The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created." ~ Ps. 33:6a WHATTT???! How incredible is that?
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." ~ Gen. 1:1 Of course He did!
"He alone has spread out the heavens and marches on the waves of the sea." ~ Job 9:8
"O Lord, our Lord, Your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens." ~ Ps. 8:1
"Then let the heavens proclaim His justice, for God Himself will be the judge." ~ Ps. 50:6
"The heavens proclaim His righteousness; every nation sees His glory!" ~ Ps. 97:6
"He covers the heavens with clouds." ~ Ps. 147:8a
"O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!" ~ Jer. 32:17
"In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands." ~ Heb. 1:10
